Child & Family Agency (CFA) seeks a full-time Client Support Specialist (1st, 2nd & 3rd shift positions available) to be an integral part of the care team for the Urgent Crisis Center (UCC) at CFA. The UCC is a free-standing behavioral health crisis stabilization program designed to triage, stabilize, and assess youth who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis, and then link the youth/family to an appropriate level of care within the community. This is a fast-paced environment that operates 24/7, 365 days a year.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Register new clients following registration procedures
- Manage charts in electronic health record
- Maintain and manage all client information in compliance with HIPAA
- Administrative tasks to include telephone calls, faxes, copies, scanning, and monitoring of electronic medical records
- Assist in office maintenance to include management of office equipment and submission of work requests to facilities and IT departments when indicated
- Client support tasks to include assisting families with completing necessary forms for delivery of services
- Utilization of Windows environment (Word, Excel, Outlook, Email)
- Maintain a safe and inviting waiting room area
Minimum qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred
