Summary:

We are looking for a Clinical Assistant that will sit out of our Mesa clinic and travel occasionally to our Glendale and Scottsdale clinics. This will be a full time, full-benefits, 40 hours a week position. The hours will be Monday-Friday, 7:15am-4:30am with a small amount of weekend work (around 4 weekends a year for a few hours).

As a Clinical Assistant, you will be rooming patients, stocking exam rooms, assisting the physician, teaching patients how to give injections, and be an all-around team player in the back office. Our office is completely electronic. Candidates must be able to accurately type without looking at their hand and previous experience with e-Clinical Works or another electronic medical record system is required.

Responsibilities:

• Creating a positive experience by welcoming and assisting clinic patients.
• Preparing patient files by obtaining personal and health information.
• Maintaining patient data records for evaluation and health insurance purposes.
• Performing minor diagnostic tests and procedures as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Promoting patient safety by maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
• Mediating between patients and healthcare providers.
• Guiding patients through the clinic's various facilities and procedures.
• Setting up and stocking examination and procedure rooms.
• Sterilizing medical equipment and sanitizing designated areas.
