My client – a growing start up with a positive and nurturing work environment are looking for an experienced Cloud API Developer to join their growing team. You will developing ground breaking software for their customers - with end-to-end SaaS product and service solutions that help ensure the optimisation of their customers resources.

The Job

You be building, testing and deploying secure and scalable services that will run in a serverless and micro-service environment. Written in a Java/Spring Boot stack and some Nodejs, deployment on the AWS Cloud using containers Docker on AWS ECS.

Experience Needed

Good experience with data structures, complexity and performance. Good understanding of microservice and REST architectures, API gateways, API design principles. Good understanding of running services securely in the cloud. Good knowledge of relational databases and SQL. Familiarity with serverless systems.

Advantages (not must haves) AWS Experience. Experience in Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation or similar) Containers (Docker) and Container Orchestration. Time Series Databases, IoT and Messaging Architecture.

Candidates must have fluent English and be eligible to work in Ireland.
