POSITION SUMMARY

The CMS Web Specialist is responsible for publishing content, maintaining and building pages in the Content Management System (CMS) for Brendan Vacations' general and luxury consumer websites, as well as other B2B and B2B2C white label sites. This role is also responsible for overseeing and managing the SLA hours agreed upon with the external web development agency.

For other brands (Trafalgar, Costsaver, Insight Vacations, Luxury Gold and Contiki), the Web CMS Content Specialist will be responsible for submitting web-specific tickets to the internal web team to ensure the content is accurate, up to date and relevant for those consumer facing websites.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB CONTEXT:

BrendanVacations.com and Brendan Luxury Microsite Support

  • Responsible for day-to-day maintenance of the BrendanVacations.com website and Luxury microsite, ensuring content is up to date and reflects current campaigns and messaging.
  • Understand the available content pods, modals and sections within the CMS to provide wireframes, page structure suggestions and solutions for new page build requests.
  • Leverage best practices for UI/UX to build and update content, blog, media landing pages and FIT trip pages as needed.
  • Monitor product uploads and work with TTC Tech and website development agency when issues arise. Process API product feeds through the ‘Brendan filter’, updating images, maps and content as necessary.
  • Collaborates with wider marketing team, including the Sr. VP of Marketing, Director of Marketing & Communications, the Brendan Brand & Communication Manager, Marketing Coordinator, design team and copywriters on SEO-first content (including Page Titles and Meta Descriptions) and then makes edits directly in the Umbraco CMS when needed.
  • Monitors and manages on-going site optimizations and produces monthly site and SEO performance reporting with analysis and recommendations using tools such as Google Analytics and SEMRush.
  • Works with TTC Tech and website development agency when needed to set up required reporting dashboards via Data Studio, GA4, etc.
  • Serves as liaison between website development agency and TTC Tech, coordinating calls and ensuring timely follow up to keep projects moving, ensuring on time completion. Monitor pacing of SLA hours and overall monthly budget to ensure no unknown overages are incurred.
  • Work with Director of Marketing & Communications, the website development agency and/or TTC Tech to identify and prioritize needs, outline and source requirements to determine scope of work of development projects associated with the websites.
  • Manage progress of development with agency and/or TTC Tech, participate in testing and deploy needed updates.
  • Troubleshoot any reported website issues and implement fixes directly in the Umbraco CMS where possible, or submits a ticket to website development agency (for BrendanVacations.com) or TTC Tech App Support (for Luxury microsite). Responsible for ensuring resolution of submitted tickets and confirming updates are implemented accurately.

TTC Tour Brands’ Website Support

  • Create, follow-up and ensure resolution of web tickets submitted to the Trafalgar, Costsaver, Contiki, Insight Vacations and Luxury Gold website teams, following proper escalation process when appropriate and accuracy of work completed.
  • Monitor and QC product uploads, submitting tickets to the website teams if any issues occur.
  • Create and maintain dedicated landing pages for use in paid digital media and other channels.
  • Facilitate the review of monthly/quarterly website reporting produced by the global team by scheduling meetings with regional team. Identify any cross-brand learnings that can be implemented.

White Label Support

  • Responsible for day-to-day maintenance of the white label website pages, including Costco, supporting the TTC Tour Brands in North America, ensuring content is current and actioning any updates directly in the CMS as needed.
  • Communicate relevant updates or changes with partners in conjunction with the Director of Partner Marketing as needed.
  • Troubleshoot any reported website issues and implement fixes directly in the CMS where possible, or submit a ticket to App Support. Responsible for ensuring resolution of submitted tickets and confirming updates are implemented accurately.
  • Collaborate with wider marketing team, including Director of Partner Marketing and Brand & Communications Managers, to create content that adheres to brand guidelines, building, publishing and testing pages (includes sourcing images, testing links, videos and writing copy).
  • Train and provide on-going support to global site admins and regional brand marketers.
  • Create quarterly and/or annual reports with analysis using Salesforce, Data Studio and Google Analytics data. Submit weekly and monthly reporting to Costco for auditing and commissions.

Travel Advisor Portal

  • Responsible for day-to-day maintenance of the TAP portal for North America, ensuring content is current and submitting requests to the web team for updates, changes and/or development.
  • Work with the Brand & Communication Managers on campaign landing page development, acting as the liaison when needed with the web teams.
  • Communicate updates or changes with Sr. VP of Marketing & Communications and Director of Partner Marketing to ensure wider TTC teams are apprised of relevant developments.
  • Troubleshoot any reported web issues and submit tickets to TTC Tech App Support. Responsible for ensuring resolution of submitted tickets and confirming updates are implemented accurately.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years’ experience in online marketing and/or web maintenance preferred
  • UI/UX experience, a plus
  • Ability to become quickly familiarized with applications/platforms used within role (i.e., Umbraco CMS, Google Analytics, Data Studio, Monday.com, etc.)
  • Strong proofing and editing skills required; writing ability is a plus
  • Excellent verbal communication and relationship building skills
  • Must have a positive, “Can Do” attitude with a drive to learn and grow in a team setting
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Able to multi-task and effectively manage several projects and website requests at once
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

WORK LOCATION

  • This position is considered Hybrid with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.

SALARY RANGE

  • $64,480.00 PER YEAR
