We are seeking a full-time CNA in the Pre and Post Op department within our Surgery Center. This is a fast paced environment that requires the ability to multi-task and work as a team with nothing but the best patient care in mind.

*** We are currently offering a $1,500 sign-on bonus for full-time CNA positions ***

If you have medical, surgery center/hospital experience this may be the position for you! This position is a 10 hour shift M-F.

Due to the State of Washington mandate for healthcare workers, this position will require you to be COVID vaccinated. SWRSC is now accepting the submission of religious/medical exemptions for the COVID-19 vaccine. Please reach out to a human resource staff member to obtain a medical/religious exemption form.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

What You Will Do:

Pre Operative Care

• Take vital signs of patients including temperature and blood pressure
• Surgical preps.
• Prepares IV’s for use (tubing).
• Cast cutting

Post Operative Care

• Operate under the direct supervisor of a Registered Nurse assisting with patient care, transport and preparation of patient bays.
• Direct in coming patients to appropriate bay
• Assist with cold therapies.
• Assist patients to wheel chair and with ambulation
• Assist with connecting patient to monitors

What You Will Need:

• Certified Nursing Assistant License required
• Washington State Registration required
• BLS Certification required
• At least 1 year experience in a hospital (ER, surgical, PACU etc.) environment preferred, but not required
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent customer service skills required

Pay: $19.50 - $27.33 per hour
