As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will be providing person-centered direct support for a 24-year-old young lady who uses a non-self-propelled wheelchair. She desires to learn independent living skills on a one-to-one basis while in her home and in Mechanicsburg.

Couple Evenings during the week 3:30 to 7:30 pm
Saturday and Sunday 12 hours shift (7:30 am to 7:30 pm)
Flexible scheduling (every other weekend or 6 hour shifts) available
On-call option

Experienced staff will:
-Be responsible for supervision, health and safety of individual at all times.
-Be responsible for supporting an Everyday Life by consistently reinforcing the individual’s Individual Support Plan (ISP) outcomes.
-Provide skills training, assistance and/or supervision to the individual in the areas of daily living, personal care, community, and social integration.
-Assists with personal care support
-Communicate information consistently and will be responsible for documentation on appropriate forms and verbally relaying information to Managing Employer.
-Have basic knowledge of seizure disorders and willing to follow seizure protocol for the safety of the individual
-Demonstrate basic knowledge to assure a safe and healthy environment for individual per ISP.
-Perform all other duties as assigned.

You MUST…
Have a High School Diploma or GED, CNA certificate (preferred)
Have at least 6 months experience in human service field.
Have experience working with seizure disorders.
Like dogs

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
