Standby Screw Machine Products in Berea, OH are now hiring a full time Day Shift CNC Cylindrical Grinder Setup Operator! The CNC Cylindrical Grinder Setup Operator will have on the job training to build a career for advancement within the company. This individual will be trained to be responsible for all inspection, preventative maintenance, upkeep, and proper usage of the CNC Cylindrical Machinery.

CNC Cylindrical Grinder Setup Operator – DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sets up the grind machine
• Runs the grind machine
• Understands the programing of the grind machine
• Reads and understands gauging of the parts being produced
• Corrects any issues within the produced product, including required adjustments of the machines
• Inspects the parts produced by the machine

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Able to make good decisions on which materials to use, how to solve the problem and if outside help is needed.
• Able to work in a high-pressure environment and handle multi-tasks.
• Mechanical aptitude

EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 5 years experience minimum with CNC
