Job description
TempExperts is seeking a CNC Set Up Operator for a thriving Clearwater company!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Set up and operate multiple axis
- Cut and prepare materials
- Operator milling machines, drill presses, and lathes
- Identify and receive raw material and necessary support tools (cutting tools, clamps, and other shop aides)
- Ability to program CNC machine
- Train other machinists
- Coordinate maintenance services of equipment
- Conducts finishing operations of parts
- Use micrometers and calipers
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Perform machine setup
- Ensure product meets production standards
- Conduct testing to confirm parts are within appropriate tolerances
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Ability to follow company production or safety procedures and pass internal certification training
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge on how to edit programs offline and G&M code
