PDQ Skilled Trades is looking to hire a CNC Quality Inspector for a full-service, piece-part production, and contract manufacturing facility located in the Irving area AS9100 certified shop. This is a Direct hire Opportunity!!- Salary: $45-$50K depending on experience
- Shift: 6:30 am-2:30 pm Monday-Friday
- Have experience in a CNC machining environment
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment
- Reading specifications and blueprints. Verifying the key tolerances and features of the part during the process and monitoring operations to ensure they meet production and quality standards. Recommending adjustments to the production or assembly process.
- Using statistical process control to inspect the part for quality after the part is removed, using micrometers, rulers, calipers or gauges to measure products
- Accepting or rejecting finished items and removing materials and products that fail to meet specifications
- Reporting test and inspection data
- Experience with performing dimensional inspections, including first article, in-process and final inspection required.
- Experience reading drawing and basic GD&T is a must
- Basic hand inspection tools and height gages.
- Basic computer experience in data entry and first articles.
