Job Summary:
- To work in partnership with all staff members including the Directorate Nurse Manager/CNM3, Speciality Consultants and the inter/trans-disciplinary teams to maintain, develop and provide quality patient centred care for the Trauma ward.
- To support the nurses expanding role to become more expert, competent, reflective practitioners developing skills to meet patient/service needs.
- Be a Registered General Nurse on the live register of nurses maintained by NMBI or eligible to be registered.
- Have a minimum of 5 years post registration experience 3 of which should be in the acute hospital setting.
- Management Course essential.
- Computer skills essential.
- Demonstrate practical experience of teaching in the clinical area essential.
- Display evidence of continuing professional development.
