Required qualifications:
- - The Coding Manager is responsible for Facility based outpatient and specialty -based coding
- This position plans, directs and monitors performance for all outpatient coding functions.
- The Manager ensures accuracy and integrity of all coded information to support reimbursement, revenue cycle, and data analysis and reporting functions, while maintaining appropriate coding productivity and quality expectations.
- The Manager utilizes project management skills, clinical knowledge, coding and documentation to achieve efficient processes, productivity and customer support.
- This position contributes to development of the overall strategy for system-wide outpatient coding operations and compliance, consistent with the organization's plan to support overall revenue cycle functions and organizational goals.
Preferred qualifications:
- - High School Diploman/GED or higher education - Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
- 2+ years of Coding Management experience
- Must have the following: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, and CPC
- Analytical Skills
- Detail Oriented
- Microsoft Office Applications
