We are partnering with our client to recruit a colour consultant to help to simplify the process of choosing colour by discussing with customers their space, lifestyle and style preferences. As a colour consultant you will look at light, layout and existing furnishings, fabrics and photos to create a bespoke online experience. You will then follow up with a report recommending colour, finish, volumes suggestions and an approximate outline of cost. Working closely with the ecommerce team to develop and execute the online colour consultancy services you are responsible for providing an engaging, personalised colour consultancy service for each customer.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the ecommerce manager to identify and develop the best technology and software for early engagement with the customer.

• Send out or email colour cards or inspiration brochures as required by the customer in advance of their consultation.

• Ensure that each customer provides all required information as part of the pre-consultation questionnaire.

• Work with the web development agency to define the customer journey and make sure that the pre-consultancy questionnaire is as engaging and relevant as possible.

• Prepare in advance, a number of concepts ahead of each colour consultation.

• Manage colour consultancy bookings efficiently through the online booking app.

• Liaise with the customer service team to facilitate consultation rescheduling and cancellations.

• Facilitate all colour consultation bookings placed through the websites.

• Make sure each colour consultation is as informative and personalised as possible.

• Provide interior and exterior colour advice where required.

• Work with the ecommerce manager to capture feedback and continually implement developments to improve the service.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service and deal with queries and complaints in a constructive and prompt manner.
• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Knowledge of marketing.
• Good interpersonal skills / the ability to build strong relationships.
• Impeccable attention to detail.
