Job description

Seeking Full-Time candidates who reside in the Pompano / Deerfield Beach area who are passionate about helping meet the needs of the community by identifying, coordinating and connecting families to available services that address trauma and related challenges. Provide assistance to families in the community who seek help and support. Focus on teaching families to actively promote wellness in their lives to deal with identified chronic trauma. Will be required to have an understanding of populations experiencing trauma and have strong community connections in Deerfield or Pompano Beach. Strong verbal and written skills a must. Knowledge of strength-based approach and familiarity with wrap-around services a plus.

Minimum of High School diploma. Willing to complete a mandatory, paid 30-hour training, pass a background screening and drug test. Reliable transportation a must. Some evening and weekend hours required.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a strong community connection and understanding of populations experiencing trauma.
• Help develop and execute community-focused events.
• Communicate with program staff, service providers and other agency personnel.
• Ensure that the quality and quantity of services is consistent with contractual obligations and state regulations.
• Implement changes as directed in programs and activities to achieve efficiencies and improve overall program performance.
• Successful execution of programs and community events from inception to completion.
• Understand laws, regulations and policies that apply to program objectives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37,475.01 - $43,049.93 per year
