Candidate must have experience or training in using construction software to assist with required tasks.

The Construction Detailer is responsible for completing projects and verifying that they meet expectations with regards to quality, schedule, plans, and specifications in our builder operating system. In this role you will assist the Construction Superintendent with construction, detail, warranty, and upkeep of development. The Construction Detailer will also act as a liaison between the Construction Superintendent and Warranty Department.

Education and Work Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• 3 or More Years in Experience in Construction Detailing

Job Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Using Construction Software
• Proper Tools Required
• Drywall Repair
• Painting/Caulking
• Light Trim Carpentry
• Power Washing
• Great Attention to Detail to Ensure Quality
• Maintain a Clean, Orderly Jobsite
• Maintain a Valid Drivers’ License, Auto Insurance and be Eligible to Work in the U.S.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Working Knowledge of City, State and Federal Codes and Regulations

• Able to Multi-Task, Meet Deadlines and Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously
• Ability to understand/speak Spanish (not required but helpful)
• The Construction Detailer must be able to read, analyze and interpret construction industry jargon, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of government agencies, customers, etc.
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, and to stoop or kneel.
• Must be able to carry equipment up to 50 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Must be able to work the hours of 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday and occasional Saturdays to assure the product is meeting deadlines.
• Must be flexible, if needed, to come in earlier then 8 and stay later then 5 to meet the deadlines of our product.
• Drug test is required.
