The MasterCard Data & Services global product team is seeking an accomplished Content Lead to drive the evolution of its Mastercard Learning Lab product. This role will be part of the product management team within Engines.

Mastercard Learning Lab is an e-learning platform allowing customers (issuers, acquirers and merchants) to access privileged knowledge across technology disruption and to upskill in cutting-edge product innovation. Role
  • Own, define and deliver the end-to-end content strategy for the Learning Lab, in a manner that’s aligned with the product owner’s vision for the platform.
  • Design and conduct user research, including customer interviews, in order to deepen understanding of customers’ pain points, motivations and opportunities when it comes to learning (for existing and target users).
  • Design a curriculum map for an external audience, mindful of the wider organization’s e-learning offering and in collaboration with the product owner and other relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Evaluate and procure content in line with the curriculum map, from both internal and external sources.
  • Procure and create content in accordance with the platform localization strategy
  • Create / produce a content production processes with the Global Product Manager to maximise production efficiency, budget adherence and content quality.
  • Draft a content production and release schedule as a rolling 12-month plan
  • Manage content partners (subject matter experts and production partners) to ensure content quality and production cadence are achieved within a pre-determined cost structure.
  • Manage end to end the contractual relationship with all the content suppliers including the contract scoping for new partners as well as SLA monitoring
  • Work closely with the global product manager, platform lead and technical support, to prioritize development efforts to maintain alignment with product strategy
  • Be creative; propose, explore and iterate on new content and learner engagement formats.
  • Ensure consistent alignment between business priorities and content strategy
  • Manage a content budget
  • Align with the global product manager and platform lead to design intuitive, CX improvements that optimize the learners experience
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in e-learning
  • Provide input into platform pricing and go-to-market strategy

All About You
  • Agile content management experience, preferably in an e-learning environment for financial services.
  • Strong strategic thinker, able to balance short-term needs with longer-term vision
  • Experience in managing content supplier relationships end to end (defining requirements, negotiating prices, agreeing and monitoring SLAs).
  • Content evaluation and production experience required
  • Solutions-oriented skillset with the ability to drive thought leadership.
  • Experience designing, executing and distilling user research to drive product enhancement through increased value for the user
  • Keen understanding of competitive offerings and industry trends in e-learning and the ability to translate that understanding into meaningful actions preferred
  • Proven track record collaborating in cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to interface with clients
  • Highly organized and able to deal with multiple and competing priorities
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant experience
  • Experience in innovation in financial services or payments helpful.
