Amazon's Consumer Customer Service Support team (C2S2) is seeking an experienced Content Developer to work primarily on English language content. This team creates and manages support content that helps our customers and customer service associates resolve issues and gain information about Amazon. In this role, you will create and publish content both for customer-facing help pages and internal knowledge centres. In addition to partnering with stakeholders on key global projects, you will be contribute to overall team strategy and goals. You are also encouraged to identify opportunities to improve team processes and tools and to put those plans into action. To excel in this position, you will be comfortable in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. You must be able to manage tight deadlines and develop realistic schedules. You must be comfortable writing, creating, and publishing high quality content for a variety of audiences, while managing expectations with stakeholder teams. You must also be excellent at managing your time, working in sometimes ambiguous or pressured situations and balancing competing priorities. Role can be based in Cork, London, Edinburgh, Luxemburg, Cagliari, Berlin. About the team Content Delivery is part of the C2S2 support team for Amazon Customer Service. Team members are based across Europe and the Americas and work in multiple languages including French, Spanish, German, Turkish, Polish, Dutch, Italian,Swedish and English.
  • Localization experience with a proven track record for delivering projects within scope, time and quality.
  • Fluency in any of the following languages is an advantage: Spanish, German, French, Italian, Dutch, Swedish, Turkish or Polish.
  • Intermediate HTML and/or XML skills.
  • Experience with DITA and Ajuda/Trisoft.
  • Experience with Trados or other CAT tools.
  • Ideally, previous experience with web publishing tools and the ability to learn our in-house tools quickly.
  • Previous experience in a Contact Centre environment with a healthy balance between customer obsession and the need to adhere to company policies.
  • Ability to flex and switch from one focus to another depending on what is priority for the business or team at any particular time.
