$45-$47 per hour + overtime and annual bonuses

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the operations of the Accounting Department, which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, billing and payroll.
  • Oversees training programs and identifies training needs.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implements a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.
  • Responsible to produce financial reports.
  • Recommends benchmarks that will be used to measure the company’s performance.
  • Produces the annual budget and forecasts; reports significant budget differences to management.
  • Provide all Partners with monthly management reports
  • Work with outside vendors as needed
  • Provides financial analysis, with emphasis on staff and client realizations and staff productivity, in addition to other management matters.
  • Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
  • Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and QuickBooks. Familiar with Tax Accounting Sofware preferred.
  • Excellent management and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask, delegate and prioritize while managing the administrative team in a busy office environment
  • Knowledge of accounting and clerical practices and procedures
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to make decisions with little oversight, self starter, willingness to conduct research and solve problems.

Education and Experience:

  • 10+ years of administrative and supervisory experience
  • CPA firm or law firm experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.
  • Public Accounting experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Hybrid Position, one day per week required at Agoura Hills, CA office

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 - $47.00 per hour
