Position Title: Controls Engineer

Location: Providence, RI

Joy Type: Fulltime/Permanent

Activity: Industry, heavy machinery, automation. Technical assistance, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.

What you develop:

· Support our client with automation and commissioning of designed and manufactured machines

· Support our customer during the daily activities of production with the machines to offer continuous improvements

· Implement improvements and fixes to the existing software

· Maintain regular contact with technical support team located at the head office to receive support and provide updates

What you bring:

· Bachelor degree or similar level of experience

· 5 years’ experience in machinery industry

· Siemens software proficient:

o TIA Portal V15.1.6

o Sinamics StartDrive Advanced V15.1.3

o Step7 Professional (Step 7 Safety) V15.1

o WinCC Advanced V15.1.6You have mastered the ability to read technical drawings (mechanical and electrical)

· You have mastered the ability to read technical drawings (mechanical and electrical)

· Strong customer service, interpersonal and excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Fast-thinking and know how to adapt quickly to any situation

· Attention to detail and quality

· Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean criminal record

· Mobile Equipment Operator Certification (type ANSI 92.5 and 92.6

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $69,339.24 - $83,505.32 per year
