Role Purpose:

The Corporate Security Manager is responsible for managing a team of security professionals, leading on corporate security strategy, policy and plans. The individual will identify and manage security risks and deliver on Vodafone’s statutory obligations such as disclosure obligations including lawful interception and relating to aspects of network integrity and data protection. The individual will be accountable for the protection of customers and Vodafone’s people and assets, manage crises affecting Vodafone and shaping external security policy including enhancing Vodafone’s reputation.
The Corporate Security Manager will have the responsibility to develop and drive a cultural change awareness program, to ensure that a safe and secure behaviour is embedded across the organization.
The Corporate Security Manager will oversee operational activities, ensuring compliances with the Baseline controls, Business Continuity and Crisis Management Framework in conjunction with BCCM SPOCS across the business, Physical and Personnel Security, Investigation, Data Loss Prevention, and Lawful Interception & Disclosure obligations.


Essence of Role – Key Accountabilities:

Protect Vodafone people, assets, reputation which includes business continuity, crisis management, physical security policy, travel security, data loss prevention, investigations and speak up.
Responsible for oversight on operational activities, ensuring compliance with our Corporate Security Baseline controls and associated assurance activities
Responsible for Government regulation including full law enforcement assistance obligations and the external affairs for Electronic Communications Security Measures, NIS etc
Working closely with the Group Corporate security teams engaging stakeholders externally for public policy and driving reputation and social contract initiatives in security area
Manage SLT and Board including group and senior stakeholders on corporate security matters
Responsible for creating a culture of security, delivering security awareness initiatives included in security training.
Manage security incidents & investigations as per the Internal Investigations Policy and Fraud Management Policy.
Deputise for Head of Corporate Security, Risk and Compliance
Successful candidate will be required to submit to a security clearance process.

We Are Looking For You, If You Have:

Essential:

Over 3 years in a security leadership role
Experience of managing teams and working cross functionally with significant influencing skills
Understanding of telecoms sector regulation, GDPR, Electronic Communications Security Measures, NIS, NIS2
Ability to understand issues at both operational and strategic levels and to influence stakeholders to action
Security or professional qualification
Ability to analyse complex information and identify key relevant points, including communication to relevant stakeholders
Note: Whilst a good technical knowledge is beneficial, this is a non-technical role

Desirable:
Business Continuity / Investigations /Policy
Risk Management/Compliance framework skills
