Our client is seeking a Cost Accountant to join the busy team at their Claremont, NH facility. The ideal candidate has high attention to detail and costing experience in a manufacturing environment. If that sounds like you, then don’t hesitate to apply for this full-time, first-shift opportunity!
Responsibilities of the Cost Accountant
- Analyze costs for 3 manufacturing plants
- Prepare journal entries
- Post sales and any cost of goods accruals
- Review costs of products and establish retail pricing
- Prepare and analyze project sales and cost of sales by project
- Assist plant managers with any inquiries
- Visit plants for work sessions/time studies as required
- Participate in annual physical inventory
- Perform other related tasks as assigned
Qualifications of the Cost Accountant
- 3 years of costing experience, preferably in manufacturing
- Able to handle multiple tasks and information
- Analytical
- Detail-oriented
- Excellent knowledge of MS Windows (Excel and Word required)
- Knowledge of SAP and Intacct preferred
