Busy Kids are currently recruiting a Creche Manager for their childcare facility in Ballycummin, Limerick.

Full-time, permanent position, 40 hours per week Monday – Friday.

Role Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Manager in our Ballycummin Creche to provide the highest standard of professional leadership in the operation of our busy service. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a positive can-do attitude, problem-solving, and present creative solutions and initiative. The post holder will coordinate the management of all staff in line with Busy Kids Policies and Tusla Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of Staff in all aspects of their duties
• Administration duties to include finances, responding to enquiries, HIVE updates
• Enrolment of new children, keeping adequate projections and waitlist at all times
• Address conflicts, complaints and challenges in a professional & timely manner

Requirements

• Candidates must hold a qualification with a minimum Fetac Level 6 in childcare.
• Candidates must have 3 years of experience in a childcare setting.

Desired:

• A Fetac Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Early Childhood is desired.
• It is desired, but not required, that candidates have 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role.

Training and Personal Development:

The postholder will undergo training and mentoring under one of Busy Kids Quality and Governance Coordinators to establish and maintain a standard of care and education to ensure the efficient day-to-day running and management of the Crèche. The manager will be supported by the Quality and Governance Coordinator and the Support Office team for Busy Kids.
