The City of Worcester Crisis Response Initiative provides clinical support 7 days per week, 24 hours per day in partnership with the Worcester Police Department and other first responders in the city of Worcester. - Oversee the Crisis Response Team within the Access Division which is the "front door" to CHL with a mission to eliminate health disparities and deliver coordinated, integrated, and equitable care in a timely manner.

As Senior Director of the Crisis Response Team, you would be joining the multi-city crisis response system as an added layer of support for those experiencing a mental or emotional crisis.

Respond to crisis situations; deliver coordinated, equitable care in a timely manner. As Director of the Crisis Response Team, you would be joining the city of Worcester's crisis response system as an added layer of support for those experiencing a mental or emotional crisis.
- Collaborate and interface with several external stakeholders including the Advisory Committee which is comprised of several groups such as: the local community, the Fire Department, EMT's, Multicultural Wellness, and many more.
- Lead and collaborate with various teams, committees and individuals including executive leadership and members of the community and facilitate meetings.
- Demonstrate experience in project management and the ability to independently manage projects from initiation, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling and closing stages of assigned projects.
- Provide crucial data to all stakeholders regarding response time, type, disposition, and in the event of a transport, provide additional detailed data.
- Ensure current medical protocols and any updates are provided to the City of Worcester within a defined time-period.
- Orient and supervise program staff, ensure program staff is trained to Divisional and Agency procedures.
- Demonstrate knowledge of services within CHL and community. Stay current on all changes regarding programs and services offered within CHL and community.
- Comfortability establishing relationships with other key community stakeholders to promote program offerings and reduce the unnecessary use of high cost of care settings (i.e.: ED) as well as promoting ail diversion.
- Lead in quality outcomes of the services provided
- Organize the work within the department to maximize resources and provide efficient and effective service.
- Oversee supervision of clinical care and treatment interventions in program milieu. Participate in program, and division specific clinical teams.
- Evaluate staffing patterns and coverage, programmatic structure, treatment interventions and services offered on site to ensure safety, security and quality care to clients. Handle hiring, performance management review and disciplinary procedures as needed and required. Ensure operational budget for programs is reconciled.
- Develop and adhere to policies and procedures.
- Develop and update department policies and work rules as required/needed.
- Establish admissions operational strategies by evaluating trends; establishing critical measurements; determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change.
- Develop and maintain constructive relationships with referral parties, managed care organizations and the community at large to maximize admissions to CHL programs. Participate with management in the planning, development and implementation of admission functions.
- Coordinate facility compliance with licensing standards; coordinate upkeep of environment of care.
- Respects diverse views and approaches demonstrates Standards of Respect and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients, and visitors.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Services or other related field.
- 3-5 Years of experience providing program leadership and supervision required.
- Must have a commitment to addressing health inequities in Central Massachusetts.
- Demonstrated analytical and data-driven approach.
- Interest in quality improvement, client access, and healthy equity.
- Experience in project management, implementing workflows, operations, and/or organizational development.
- Strong business acumen necessary
