Summary Description:
Provide a full range of cleaning and general custodial services to office and plant areas.
Essential Functions:
- Trash pick-up
- Pallet bundling
- Bathroom and locker room clean-up
- Daily cafeteria clean-up
- Sweep and mop floors
- Snow removal at facility entrances
- Perform any and all other job related tasks as assigned
Skills or Experience Required:
High school degree or GED is required. Six (6) months experience in cleaning and maintenance services is preferred.
Other Position Demands or Requirements:
Must be able to follow written and verbal directions with accuracy, and safely handle cleaning chemicals.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
Works in a variety of environments including the foundry with exposure to dust, fumes, heat and noise. Must be able to bend, reach, lift and move up to 50 lbs. without assistance. May be required to wear personal protective equipment when in plant and when handling cleaning chemicals.
