Job Summary:

The customer Service Coordinator processes orders for products received by web, email, mail, telephone, or personally from internal or external customers. Assists Sales Department by converting interest to opportunity and processing customer orders when they are received. Customer Service Coordinators are responsible for various parts of the sales cycle and all work together as a team to meet the needs of the customer.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Processes incoming purchase orders.
  • Prepares quotes directly to customers (standard products they purchase routinely or new ones).
  • Provides certificates when requested by customer.
  • Processes sample requests.
  • Utilizes and updates CRMt system to document account history.
  • Ensures customer service satisfaction.
  • Provides shipping confirmations and documents.
  • Monitors/responds to customer service emails.
  • Maintains routine proactive contact with customers.
  • Interfaces effectively across organizational boundaries (customer service, sales, quality, operations, etc.) to perform tasks and achieve results.
  • Processes and submits freight quotes for existing orders.


Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in a related field and or one year of experience performing similar tasks.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Proven ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Demonstrated time management skills; ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Must have knowledge of CRM software (Sales Logix, Sales Force) as well as Microsoft Excel, Word, and related software applications.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and the manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to speak, write, and read Spanish is a plus.
