We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our team for an opportunity with our client, UnitedHealth Group. You will be conducting analysis on the data migration from a vendor hosted database to the client owned cloud database. We are looking for a confident, skilled and energetic resource to compliment a blended team and provide quality service to our client.

Applicant must have permanent work status in the US.

This is a 100% remote position.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform a comparison between data sources to ensure the new data source has all the data and elements required.

• Provide comparison results to stakeholders

• Conduct and perform SQL commands against the data source to validate data counts

• Provide feedback in a collaborative manner to stakeholders as needed

• Solve unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business

• Document actions taken to provide visibility across team

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in business, technology, related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

• Working knowledge of relational databases, database models and design, systems design, data management, data warehouse

• 3+ years of SQL coding skills experience; must be proficient

• Thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing tasks

• Ability to collaborate with team members to meet project related goals and support on-going maintenance

• Excellent interpersonal skills required

• Ability to understand complex business problems quickly

• Ability to prioritize, coordinate, and manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment

• Must be self-motivated, goal oriented, and able to work with ambiguity and confidentiality

• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of Health care experience

• 1 year of writing SQL in MS SQL Server

• Working Knowledge of MS Azure Data Bricks and/or Python and Spark

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $70.00 per hour
