Job summary

Quantix is currently seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join the information systems team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of and hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI and SQL with proven ability to work independently in converting business and functional requirements into complex reports, data visualizations and dashboards. This position will report directly to Manager, Business Intelligence, and will work on projects that span all Quantix divisions. This role will be responsible for analyzing, cleansing, and transforming data from various sources, setting up security roles, and conducting training of end users. This includes providing technical and analytical guidance for Power BI architecture and implementing best practices in application systems development and security.

Summary of essential job functions

• Serve as a valued business partner to the entire organization by developing creative solutions to provide management with actionable insights, answer business critical questions, and fulfill other information needs
• Write SQL queries and retrieve data in a highly complex relational database environment.
• Design, configure, develop, and debug reports in Power BI
• Build, update, and maintain technical documentation for projects
• Interact effectively with business partners to understand business requirements and assist in developing project scope, requirements, timeline, and goals
• Participate in architecture, technical design, and product implementation discussions
• Provide ad-hoc data mining and analysis as requested
