The Data Management product line is delivered via JPMC Advanced Data Ecosystem (JADE), a comprehensive data management solution that facilitates in making JPMC's data discoverable, understandable, observable, trustworthy, accessible, and interoperable for authorized personas to lead business intelligence (BI) and artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) initiatives with agility and velocity. It includes center of excellences for multiple product lines, such as Data Lake (DL), Data Migrations Services (DMS), Unified Data Catalog and Controls (UDCC), JADE Foundational Services (JFS), and Data Analytics & Business Intelligence services, to drive digital transformation, cloud adoption, and artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) capabilities throughout the firm.
As a Databricks Product Owner Vice President, you will be working in a team of Product Owners and Software Engineers providing cutting-edge, cloud native, business-critical projects at the forefront of technology solutions, and playing a crucial role in identifying, improving, and developing technology solutions that influence our strategic goals. You will be working with a larger global team to help design, architect, develop and re-engineer applications to fully leverage architecture blueprints and security standards. You will be actively participating in collaborative sessions with business and technology stakeholders to deliver products that go beyond customer expectations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Leading product Integration with other data platforms in the firm
- Making the product to become 'Generally Available' for all lines of business
- Improving product maturity with features and enhancements
- Encouraging line of business adoption and reporting
- Integrate with internal Financial Operations to implement charge back model
- Define and influence the delivery of the product features
- Generate product roadmaps, adoption, and delivery reports
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of technology industry experience with heavy emphasis on technology and implementation, 5+ years of Product Management
- Knowledgeable in Business Applications, Data Usage, User Experience, Technical experience in big data, and data sciences, and Product Management
- Ability to liaison between lines of business and the engineering teams, while working with a wide range of stakeholders and collaborating with your team.
- Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
- Experience working with Agile Development teams / Worked under Agile and Product based development model
- Experience working with private or public cloud platforms and implementation (AWS preferred)
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Proficiency with Spark, SQL, Python, PySpark data analysis, MLOps technologies and Databricks is a plus
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills with a continuous process improvement mindset
- Understanding of Quality Assurance practices and various types of testing
- SQL experience is a plus
- Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and practices
- Working knowledge of Snowflake, data warehousing, data science is a plus
