Delivery Driver Position:

South Jersey Bakery LLC, headquartered in Paulsboro, NJ, is a wholesale provider of a wide range of bakery products. We are looking for a reliable and energetic delivery driver to join the SJB team! Of course, we want people who will do more than just drop off our food- we want people who can truly provide excellent customer service, while on-the-go!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Efficiently deliver customer orders promptly and accurately
• Maintain customer satisfaction and positively impact SJB's image
• Strategically load orders into vehicle
• Drive safely to deliver orders
• Unload vehicle and arrange racks in appropriate layout in rack wash area
• Miscellaneous pick-up and delivery on SJB's behalf

Required Skills and Requirements

• The delivery position requires the need to provide exceptional customer service, by treating all customers and co-workers with dignity and respect
• Must be self-motivated, energetic and customer service-oriented
• Previous delivery experience is preferred
• Be physically able to work at least an eight (8) hour day, while on your feet
• Safely lift ten (10) to fifty (50) pounds
• Maintain a composed sense of urgency during delivery hours
• Obey all traffic laws
• Must have a clean MVR

Education and/or Experience

• At least a year of experience driving a 26ft box truck
• Ability to read, speak and write English so as to assimilate, retain and apply training
• Retain knowledge of job functions and be able to recognize and communicate problems, as well as recommend solutions
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
