Pediatric Dental Assistant
A growing Pediatric dental practice is looking to add an energetic, highly motivated individual with great interpersonal skills to our team.

The ideal candidate should work well with children, be self-motivated and reliable, have a positive attitude and a great chairside manner as well as work in a team. Previous dental experience is preferred.

Compensation: based on experience

Employment type: part-time with an average of 29 hours per week (no weekend hours required)

Duties include:

• Greeting patients and helping to make the family comfortable
• Reviewing and updating patients' medical histories
• Providing basic coronal polishing
• Taking and developing dental radiographs (X-ray certification preferred)
• Reviewing oral hygiene instructions and diet/nutrition habits
• Assisting the dentist in restorative procedures
• Preparing and sterilizing instruments according to protocol
• Breaking down, sterilizing and setting up operatories
• Charting and documenting oral conditions and dental treatment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
