We are looking for an experienced dental hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate is dynamic and looking to grow in a patient centered practice where the care and health of our patients is our priority. We would prefer that you have at least 2 years hygiene experience and be a team player. For benefits we offer a competitive benefit package including medical, 401 K, vacation and personal time. Dental Hygienist Requirements and Qualifications

• Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program
• Current state license and x-ray certification
• Excellent understanding of dental hygiene procedures
• Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques
• Excellent communication skills
• Dentrix knowledge prefered

Responsibilities for our Dental Hygienist:

• Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, including dental prophylaxis, scaling, flouride and sealants, and root planing
• Complete a thorough assessment of the patient's teeth, bone, and periodontal tissues, and document any abnormalities or suspected conditions
• Customize care to meet patient's oral health
• Educate patients on good oral hygiene techniques
• Maintain patient confidentiality

• Provide all care in conjunction with accepted professional dental practices and standards
• Update patient records

• Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
• Restock treatment areas

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40.00 per hour
