We’re looking for a graduate with a mechanical or electrical bias to join our growing Design Team. The successful candidate will work closely with our Service Design Manager and support the team in the design stages of building customer spaces across all our Ireland data centers. Your role will be part of the team that is responsible for the design, integration, and deployment as well as guiding customers in formulating requirements and advising alternative and innovative approaches. Using AutoCAD, or similar, you’ll help meet new customer demands and support existing customers with their expansion plans by scoping and capturing solutions and delivering best-in-class service. We’ll support your development in providing pre-contract technical expertise, processing and developing design drawings, and supporting the bids/proposals process – all are aspects of this superb career development opportunity.

What you’ll need

• A degree in engineering, or related discipline or equivalent, with practical experience, is a bonus, although not essential
• A proactive approach, a ‘can-do’ mentality, commitment, and drive to go the extra mile
• Adaptability and openness to change and new ideas – someone who can handle pressure and adjust their plans to meet changing needs
• Excellent communication skills
• A flair for breaking down problems, understanding underlying issues, simplifying and processing the complex, and appreciating the difference between critical details and unimportant facts
