You have:
- Expertise in Revit (minimum 4,000 hrs), AutoCAD, Word, Bluebeam, and Excel, with basic working knowledge of SketchUp
- Proficiency in creating Specifications, Design Development drawings, Construction Documents, and Shop Drawings (minimum 3 years’ experience)
- Proficiency in residential Wood-Frame Construction methods
- Proficiency in coordinating consultants and vendors
- Professional or Technical degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or equivalent
- Prior experience in a Manufacturing Environment or Construction Industry is preferred

THE JOB
- Create and coordinate 2D drawing sets and 3D Building Information Models for complex high-end residential projects for permitting, fabrication, and construction, using knowledge of the construction and manufacturing processes and applicable building codes
- Research, analyze and advise on detailed specifications, construction techniques, industry/local stand-ards, materials, and processes
- Assist in Detail Library development
- Challenge the status quo and act as a change agent for continuous improvement
- Coordinate and maintain lasting relationships with clients, manufacturers, consultants, builders, ven-dors, assemblers, client lenders, and local regulatory officials
A typical day with us:
- Prepare and review Architectural Drawings using Revit in a timely fashion, while coordinating design and specifications and local requirements with staff, consultants, and regulatory officials
- Interpret 3D Schematic Design Models and convert them to Design Development drawings
- Work with project team to develop architectural and technical solutions
- Review Shop drawings to ensure coordination with Architectural and consultant drawings
- Participate in a collaborative studio culture in an easily commutable office currently in South Boston with plans to move to the Tufts/Davis Square neighborhood in the near future
