Arconic is currently in search of Deskside Technician to join our Executive Support Team in Pittsburgh, PA.

Responsibilities for Internal Candidates

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide IT deskside support to all employees at the Arconic Corporate Center in Pittsburgh PA
• Provide White Glove IT services to all company executives
• Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating system (Windows 10), network, mobile devices and across a range of applications
• Operate with Arconic IS standards and conventions and applicable Arconic BU/RU IT Standards
• Stage, configure, and deliver IT assets (e.g. personal computers and mobile phones)
• Manage the inventory of IT assets in the building
• Support IT systems at the location
• Work across a global IT support team to share information and best practices

Key Objectives

• Support the executive team at the Arconic Corporate Center
• Manage the full life cycle of IT assets
• Proactively prevent issues
• Solve issues as they arise.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with a wide variety of people, via face to face, over the phone, remote access, Teams and in writing

Qualifications for Internal Candidates

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent from an accredited organization
• 2 years minimum experience in a similar role.
• Ability to troubleshoot and remediate IT issues in a timely manner
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Qualified IT candidate must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the relevant government agency. Business demands may require employer to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
