Position: Device Development Engineer
Location: Rahway, NJ (onsite)
Duration: 12 Months

Responsibilities:

• Device development Engineer Activities include:Execute mechanical (compression/testing), dimensional, and rheological analysis on a multiple of drug delivery devices.
• This includes, but no limited to, test setup, execution, and data analysis.
• Setting up and operating: XRCT (Zeiss M800), Rheometer (TA HR10), Optical Microscope (Keyence VR-6000, VHX-7000), Instron (Model 68SC-1)
• Conduct, interpret, and communicate experiments and data under general guidance of a scientific supervisor.
• This includes collating and summarizing data to support preparation of technical reports.
• Maintain laboratory documentation in accordance to required scientific, regulatory, and intellectual property requirements.
• Carry out all assignments to the standards of efficiency, innovation, accuracy, and safety in accordance with the company and regulatory requirements.

Quals-

• Education Requirements:Bachelors in Science
• 0 to 3+ yr. relevant experience preferred.
• Product development experience and drug delivery device experience preferred.
• Laboratory testing and testing method development experience, e.g., Instron, XRCT, Rheometer, Optical Microscope.
• Good knowledge and understanding of physical and/or mechanical characterization techniques.
• Good communication skills and ability to articulate.
• icrosoft Office suite required, software testing experience preferred.
• Heavily Preferred experience with setting up and operating: XRCT (Zeiss M800),Rheometer (TA HR10), Optical Microscope (Keyence VR-6000, VHX-7000),Instron (Model 68SC-1)
