uBreakiFix is the leading smartphone, tablet, computer and console repair business in the country. Since its inception in 2009, uBreakiFix has grown rapidly to over 300 stores across the country, Canada, Trinidad and Puerto Rico.
We are expanding our store base in the gold coast of CT, from Stamford to New Haven and are looking for motivated individuals with great customer service skills who want an opportunity to learn how to do repairs on smartphones, tablets, computers, and anything that has a power button.
We are offering a fantastic opportunity to join us at an experienced or entry level, go through our paid training program if needed, develop expertise, and rise quickly as we grow.
The Repair Technician role is to serve our customers by diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing devices while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair devices
- Explain complex technical issues to customers in a non-technical, simple to understand manner
- Provide repair and replacement estimates to customers
- Ensure all repairs meet or exceed uBreakiFix quality standards
- Ensure customers have an enjoyable experience by providing superior service and exceeding expectations
- Keep track of all devices and inventory while safeguarding all store stock
- Utilize the point of sale system to maintain an accurate record of customer information and real-time status of each repair
- Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the store

Basic Qualifications:
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent technical, problem solving, and analytic stills
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Good hand/eye coordination to handle tools and manipulate small parts
- Able to type, use a computer and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Work well in a team environment
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or GED Required.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening test.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
