You will work with real-time data and create tools using cutting-edge visualization, development, and analytic technologies in an HPC environment.

Our team provides full product lifecycle support for a large suite of multiplatform tools, environments, and microservices. These services support every aspect of the intelligence lifecycle including collection management, data aggregation, transformation, and enrichment, knowledge management, object-based production, and production creation and dissemination.

We utilize best practices in data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, software engineering, data analytics, systems administration, and cybersecurity. Our team will lead in providing the next generation of capabilities planning and continuous integration of new and emerging technologies.

A DevOps System Administrator on this team:

• Assist with systems maintenance and patching for POAM mitigation.
• Performs systems administration of server systems connected to local and wide area networks. Desktop system management responsibilities involve account monitoring, security, Operating System (OS) installation, and other local area system administration related functions.
• Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
• Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems
• Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, etc.
• Provides problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problem
• Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
• Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
• Configures and manage LINUX operating systems
• Installs/loads operating system and application software
• Isolates and resolve of hardware and software problems involving the applications, the operating system, the hardware, the communications infrastructure, or any combination thereof
• Troubleshoots, maintains integrity, and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
• Integrates new technologies into new and existing systems including the transition and migration of corporate systems.

Work Location:

• Optimal locations: Herndon/Chantilly, VA
• Others on case by case consideration ( Fort Meade MD, Denver Colorado, Melbourne Florida, NGA HQ)

Requirements:

• Understanding of virtual or cloud environment.
• Experience configuring and managing LINUX operating systems.
• Experience investigating and resolving technical issues.
• Will work in a SCIF ~80% or as needs dictate
• US Citizenship Required
• Active TS/SCI clearance

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $130,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
