Job description
Provides clerical, scheduling and/or patient registration support in Oncology department.
Ensure accurate and timely appointment scheduling is completed in accordance with established departmental guidelines and patients are notified.
Perform front office clerical functions as needed. Assist with chart preparation. Answer and direct phone calls in accordance with departmental guidelines.
Maintain ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office (Outlook) and department specific software applications to perform work.
Communicate effectively and cooperatively in the workplace.
Actively contribute to the achievement of Quality Improvement and Lean Process Improvement activities.
EDUCATION
High School diploma or GED required.
