Dietician- PRN

Location: Clarksburg, WV

Hours: Days, Will work remote with a couple days onsite.

Pay: $56-$61/hr

Contract: 13-weeks

UNIT SUMMARY:

This facility is a private, non-profit behavioral health hospital in Clarksburg, WV. Situated in North Central West Virginia, it is strategically located to serve Harrison County and surrounding areas, as well as the entire state of WV. They provide acute, comprehensive psychiatric and substance abuse services to youth, adults and the adult forensic population. The 115 licensed bed facility has been open for nearly a decade, admitting the first patients in August 2013. They continue to be a leader in behavioral healthcare in WV, providing treatment and support in a safe and caring environment.

JOB SUMMARY:

Oversee the nutritional well-being of patients including conducting nutrition assessments, identifying patients at risk, and creating diet plans. Analyze the effectiveness of interventions and use metrics to implement data-driven improvements. Will also actively keep up with the latest nutritional research, integrating new findings into diet plans and nutritional services, providing nutrition education to patients and mitigating risk factors. Will collaborate with physicians, therapists and nurses in order to tailor dietary services and improve patient outcomes. 70 patients, typical caseload of 35.

REQUIREMENTS:

· WV State License

· Registered Dietician Nutritionist (RDN)

· Member of American Dietetic Association with current registration

· Bachelors in Nutrition, Dietetics clinical nutrition, or related field

· 1 year of experience (minimum)
