Based in Alsip, IL Nufarm is looking to engage a motivated Director of Supply Chain Planning to be the business lead on the North American implementation of a Global supply chain system which includes development of processes and procedures accompanying the system. This role is accountable for leading effective demand and supply coordination processes across NA to ensure quality information is provided to and from the various areas of the business.

What will you be doing?

Business lead on the North American portion of the Global supply chain system implementation. Partnering with regional and corporate IT on developing overall project management framework.

Provide feedback and insight regarding the Global Supply chain system implementation.

Coordinate supply and demand communications across the North American business on a monthly basis.

Communicate results of forecast/budget discussions to the appropriate parties.

Understand the IBP coordination process and assist IBP, Regional Demand Planning Manager as appropriate.

Perform required analytics to balance the requirements of both the demand and the supply side of the business. Ensure that parties are in balance as to the needs and expectations of the business and communicate effectively.

Coordinate efforts of supply and demand process, working closely with procurement, manufacturing, sales, and marketing to ensure all parties are in sync.

Partner with Procurement, Regional Demand Planning & IBP to ensure that gaps are identified, and tasks are apportioned appropriately.

What do you bring?

Nufarm is looking for a people leader with a bachelor’s degree / advanced degree in fields related to operations, supply chain or IT functions. The ideal candidate will have a familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean, 5S, Kaizen or related business improvement tools. The right candidate will be familiar with contemporary IBP practices.
