The support given will follow specific goals and objectives of each individual served.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: 1 year experience working with the IDD population, preferred
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and Insurance
- Must be able to pass a criminal background and motor vehicle check, including KDADS required screenings
- Must be willing to work nights and weekends
- Must be able to pass a physical, first aid, and CPR training

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care needs which may include physical intervention, hygiene care, meal prepping, budgeting, shopping, cleaning, and attend meetings
- Monitor and/or administer medications as prescribed
- Documentation of shift coverage
- Assist individuals and families with informed choices
- Participate in the development and modification of Person Centered Support Plans
- Maintain positive relationships with individuals, families, and other professionals
- Transporting individuals to preferred appointments, work, and community activities
- Documentation of event reports and outcomes
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Become CPI certified
Work Location:
- Chase, Lyon, Morris, Wabaunsee, Coffey, Franklin, and Osage Counties
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
