Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience leading commercial teams in a matrix organization.
  • Experience in executive-level sales leadership in technology, advertising, and/or internet.
  • Ability to speak and write in German and English fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree.
  • Experience in relevant markets in the DACH region and/or broad sales and commercial programs.
  • Ability to identify issues and priorities to escalate regionally/globally and to product teams.
  • Ability to role model the development of business opportunities and relationships, and identify, attract, and develop talent.
  • Strategic and commercial acumen, with the ability to develop and deliver a joined up business strategy that is dynamic and balances sustainable success.
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to investigate performance data, develop actionable insights, and participate in action to capture opportunities.

About the job

As Director, Agency, Google Customer Solutions (GCS), you will lead a team of high performing experts who work with many of our German agencies and partners to drive transformational growth. You will be the executive advocate at Google to German agencies, interacting with and influencing C-level leaders, guiding the team to define the strategy for how our products and solutions can reach users to drive business growth for both Google and those partners.

You will be responsible for helping our agencies maximize their commercial growth through using our products and technologies. Your reach into the German advertising ecosystem will help Germany build an engaging advantage in digital advertising and, as a business leader, you will be developing the next generation of leaders on the team as you collectively achieve your goals.

Responsibilities

  • Set and lead the strategy for all German Agency business. Ensure business success across your portfolio by delivering maximum value to customer across our products, driving business growth across segments.
  • Coach managers, providing them with the guidance necessary to position themselves and create a shared vision and a combined growth plan.
  • Foster a great team culture based on safety and inclusion.
  • Develop and execute a people strategy for your teams which will ensure that each has the current and future bench of talent to execute for growth.
  • Serve as a part of the executive leadership team for our organization.
