Director, HR Transformation
In the role of Director of Human Resource Transformation you will support the VP HR Strategy & Transformation and the Office of the RTX CHRO. The primary responsibility is to be the enterprise HR project leader for the RTX business realignment initiative which is anticipated to extend through the end of 2023. Additionally you will be a thought partner and project manager for HR Strategy, Operating Model and Transformation initiatives including supporting the drive towards a common, well-functioning RTX HR Operating model and develop a clear vision for further advancement. Responsible for managing the implementation and ongoing governance of CORE for RTX Corporate HR and for managing the relevant CORE BU connection points.
Primary Responsibilities:
- HR project lead for RTX business realignment:
- Project milestone development/planning and tracking, working with all HR workstreams and partnering organizations such as Enterprise Services
- HR interface for the Transformation Management Office
- Lead the weekly HR TMO check-ins
- Support change management planning and execution
- Manage consultant support relationship (EY)
- HR project leader for Day 1 readiness team
- Support efforts to confirm and document full end to end HR value streams categorized by HR Partner, COE and People Services – ensure hand-offs and roles & responsibilities understood and agreed to – partner with OE & Change COE for necessary change management plans
- Work closely with partner functions such as Enterprise Services to understand and address dependencies and cross connections
- Assess areas of opportunity for HR platform/programs against business needs and external trends and develop/implement action plans to address gaps with appropriate functional subject matter experts and partners
- Understand HR implications from BU strategic / transformative priorities and translate into HR Strategy beyond business realignment
- CORE: prepare the annual priority setting – goal alignment process– and oversee the IT and continuous improvement governance process
- Ensure CORE principles are incorporated through all initiatives
- Manage and leverage external thought partners
- Responsible for the completion of other tasks related to this position as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- University Degree and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years’ experience.
- Strong analytical abilities, process focus, and demonstrated achievement of significant key business goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA highly desirable as well as experience across all components of the HR Operating Model.
