Tandigm Health is looking for a Director, Marketing & Communications in the greater Philadelphia area, to help support our mission of positive disruption in healthcare!
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting into the VP, Marketing & Communications, this position will work with key stakeholders across the organization to identify, manage, and prioritize the varied marketing and communications needs of Tandigm.
Essential Functions:
- Serve as strong individual contributor, both strategically and tactically, across a wide variety of stakeholder levels
- Develop and implement Tandigm Health’s marketing and communication strategies, including project management, planning, budgeting, execution and evaluation of activities and events; provide status updates to team members as needed
- Develop strong, trustworthy relationships with cross-functional partners throughout Tandigm; effectively remove barriers, gain alignment and manage priorities; evaluate options and build consensus to optimize solutions
- Lead projects with multiple stakeholders, complex input, and time sensitive deadlines; keen awareness of when/how to elevate issues to senior levels in order to drive decision-making on key projects
- Manage and/or supervise the work of external vendors and/or agencies as appropriate
- Develop and maintain relations with the Marketing & Communications liaisons of Tandigm owners, including both Independence Blue Cross and Penn Medicine, to ensure their involvement and/or approval of joint communications messages and/or activities where appropriate.
- Coach and mentor direct reports in functional and leadership competency development
Marketing:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to support Tandigm business segments as needed, building awareness and recognition of the Tandigm brand and ensuring messaging and communications are consistent with Tandigm’s strategy
- Manage implementation of Tandigm’s marketing initiatives locally, regionally, and/or nationally
- Manage digital presence and marketing activities, including websites, social media, SEM, SEO, etc.
- Manage development of promotional materials, including brochures, videos and other marketing collateral
- Manage graphics team, ensuring brand standards are met; monitor and guide the appropriate execution of graphic identity and logo in all media formats
- Oversee and manage internal events such as Tandigm Talks, All Hands on Deck and others as needed
- Create and maintain regular reporting to effectively communicate the work and impact of marketing areas of responsibility
Communications:
- Lead the implementation of Tandigm Health’s core messaging to ensure Tandigm is presented to all stakeholders consistently; manage the evolution of this messaging as Tandigm rapidly grows and evolves, expanding to new and varying audiences.
- Develop and implement organization’s communications strategy to meet needs across a variety of internal and external audiences; define, establish, and manage effective processes, systems, tools, and resources to ensure communications across multiple audiences are correct, consistent, and cohesive.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive Communications Calendar, reflecting all target audiences.
- Liaise across departments to administer satisfaction and related surveys (i.e. physicians, patients, office staff, etc.); manage the development and implementation of a communications plan to address the results and outcomes of those surveys
- Develop internal publications such as newsletters, email announcements, planned publications, and others as needed and other strategies reflective of hybrid/mobile workforce
- Work collaboratively with communications agency to provide guidance and counsel to spokespersons as needed; including briefing materials, interview prep, media relationship management, etc.
- Partner with communications agency to proactively and strategically identify, evaluate and pursue executive engagement opportunities—internal and external—that drive organizational strategy and increase brand awareness
- Develop and manage relationships with sponsor organizations and community partners; identify new sponsorship opportunities to maximize brand exposure and community engagement
Required Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree required; focus in marketing, communications, advertising, public relations, media studies, business and/or related fields preferred
EXPERIENCE:
- 8-10 years’ experience in Marketing & Communications related field required
- Experience in healthcare preferred but not required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Strong leadership skills, self-motivated, strong initiative and drive
- Ability to approach work strategically as well as to execute assignments successfully at a tactical level
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Deep expertise in current digital marketing practices and metrics across channels
- Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire and influence others, either as the leader or as a member of the team; able to work effectively across all stakeholder groups and levels
- Ability to manage and balance working within an entrepreneurial environment of a rapidly growing organization, while simultaneously managing and responding to the needs of much more established and structured institutions (i.e., Tandigm’s Owners, large regional hospital/health systems, etc.).
- Experience in event management planning and implementation
- Media Relations experience and comfort managing critical PR matters
- Skilled at being agile to effectively pivot priorities, strategies, and initiatives
- Creative problem solver who is an expert at rolling up your sleeves and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
