SUMMARY
Responsible for overseeing the recruitment and admission of new traditional students to the campus. Leads the campus undergraduate admissions team through planning, analytical excellence, hiring of staff, training, day-to-day supervision, professional development and regular assessment. Reflects, articulates, and promotes the mission, vision, and identity of the University, both internally and externally.

Reflects, articulates, and promotes the mission, vision, and identity of the University, both internally and externally.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned by proper personnel.
- Responsible for the daily operation, coordination, and evaluation of the Admission office.
- Works with the Vice President of Enrollment and Marketing to establish goals and metrics.
- Ensures effective communication is taking place with prospective students.
- Oversees the admissions decision-making policies and ensures process compliance in the review of admission files.
- Manages vendor relationships related to recruiting students.
- Assists with financial aid strategy and execution.
- Reports and analyzes data related to trends and goals of enrollment.
- Facilitates ongoing relationships with key high school partners.
- Coordinates with the Marketing office on enrollment-related marketing.
- Regularly visits Christian high school administrators throughout the state and region.
- Participates, as needed, in the general functions of the office - student interviews, school visitations, college fairs, etc.
REPORTING RESPONSIBILITIES
Serves as a senior member of the Enrollment Management Team reporting directly to the Vice-President of Enrollment and Marketing.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides strategic oversight and direction to the to the staff of the Office of Admissions. Responsible for the daily operation, coordination, and evaluation of the Admission office function and staff.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited College or University required, master's degree preferred. The ideal candidate will have progressively responsible and successful experience in the administration of recruitment and enrollment programs in higher education. Evidence of strong analytical and problem-solving skills; an ability to think strategically; and demonstrated experience building collaborative relationships across campus and working with diverse groups of individuals while successfully supporting and managing a team will be required. Must be able to balance responsibility with a sincere concern for effective customer service to employees, students, and the general public.
