IQ EQ Fund Management (Ireland) Limited (‘IQ-EQ’) is a European fund management company that assists global asset managers in establishing and operating UCITS & AIF structures across the region. We are one of Ireland’s leading Real Estate Investment Management companies.

We are seeking a talented individual to join as Director, Real Estate to manage and develop the Real Estate Investment Management team. The successful candidate will report to the Chief Investment Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and motivate the Real Estate Investment Management Team in all aspects of real estate investment management business.
• Execute and develop the unit’s business plan.
• Manage a portfolio of regulated investment funds, comprising high-profile/high-value real estate assets. The portfolio includes a wide range of property asset classes located in Ireland, rest-of-Europe, and the US.
• Liaise with Investment Advisors, Fund & AIFM Boards and Operations team. Assisting with ad hoc issues or queries that may arise, such as reporting requests and general administrative duties to include maintenance of databases & performance trackers.
• Take responsibility for the preparation and presentation of quarterly investment management board reports and update the relevant fund boards on the underlying investment portfolio.
• Undertake financial analysis, modelling and detailed investment appraisals of investment opportunities for acquisition and disposal and prepare and present analysis to fund boards.
• Ensure that proposed investments are made and managed in line with the funds’ investment objectives/policies.
• Analyse, review and consider fund strategies, portfolio management initiatives, including new leases, lease renewals, capex programmes and ensure compliance with the funds’ business plans.
• Portfolio Risk Management - identify, measure and manage the specific risk factors associated with the funds.

• Primary Degree or higher in Business/Real Estate/Accounting/Finance.
• Qualified ACA/ACCA/RICS.
• QFA or APA.
• Experience managing individuals within the real estate asset class.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting/real estate/banking.
• Excellent analytical, creative thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• An ability to prioritise own workload.
