Duties and Responsibilities
- Help grow a basic understanding of medications and their associated nomenclature.
- Educate the team on how to perform functions related to medication ordering. Receiving, storage, preparation, deliver and disposal.
- Lead by example by utilizing appropriate steps in decision making process to include recognition and priority setting related to pharmacy work.
- Maintain good communications and work effectively with all other departments on matters concerning the training.
- Create the rotas for the store on a weekly basis.
- Oversee the smooth running of the dispensary.
- Carry out performance and probation reviews with staff members within the store.
Preferred Skills:
- Pharmacy Technician Qualification
- Managerial experience preferred but not essential
- 3+ years experience working in community pharmacy
- Nursing Home experience will be a plus
- Be proficient in MPS computer system
