The Organisation Development function in Irish Water, together with the People and Safety Director, HR and Employee Relations functions will shape and drive the organisations people strategy, including the Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Strategy, as an integral part of the overall business strategy. The function will provide a wide range of support to the business across Learning and Development, Technical Training, Talent Management and co-ordination of the People Strategy.
Reporting into the People Strategy Lead, and closely collaborating with the Head of Organisation Development, the Chair and Vice Chair of the IW D&I Council, and the ibelong Executive Sponsors, to ensure the development, delivery and ongoing update to the Irish Water D&I Strategy, this role will have direct responsibility for the development and implementation of the plan to execute Diversity and Inclusion as a strategic ambition of our organisation.
The D&I Specialist will manage the governance of the Irish Water Diversity and Inclusion Council and the ibelong Network of Employee Resource Groups. In addition, this role will support DEI related programmes and initiatives aligned to the Irish Water ibelong DEI strategic plan.
