Overview:
The Division Manager will manage and oversee utility operations for the Tri-State area (PA, NJ, DE). This individual will have direct responsibility for profit and loss while maintaining and growing business relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Manage gas, electric, water, and fiber operations throughout the region. Implement operational changes and adjustments when needed to meet business safety, quality and profitability goals.
- Conduct all necessary staff and operational meetings to ensure team cohesion and communication.
- Oversight and responsibility to continually develop and maintain safety and quality processes to ensure we are exceeding customer and company expectations.
- Oversee and run contract, project and job estimating. Monitor and manage overall profitability both division level and project level. Responsible to take corrective action where necessary to assure jobs perform to estimate.
- Maintain frequent contact with current customers and vendors to foster improved communications and long-term relationships.
- Evaluate capital expenditures of when to purchase equipment, property, overhead, etc.
- Responsible for the development and improvement of company personnel and for fostering an environment that rewards mentoring and encourages employee cooperation.
- Responsible to ensure all work is billed accurately and paid timely
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Minimum 5 Years Utility Industry Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or related field is preferred
- Experienced at reading, interpreting and managing financial statements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
