Premier Plumbers in Sarasota, FL is actively seeking a full-time Drain Cleaning Technician to clear drain stoppages and to help line pipes. Are you a diligent worker? Our Drain Cleaning Technicians typically work Monday - Friday with an 8 AM start time. There is some weekend on-call work required. This position comes with a competitive wage of $20 - $25 per hour, based on experience, with bonuses up to an additional $200 per week. We provide great benefits and perks, including health insurance, life insurance, 401(k) with a 4% company match after one year of employment, paid holidays, one week of vacation time after 1 year of employment, and breakfast at the shop every day. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DRAIN CLEANING TECHNICIAN
In this position, you provide our customers with a vital service as you clean their drains. When we receive service calls, you go to the job site, providing exceptional customer service as you interact with our clients. You discuss their needs and complete a thorough inspection of their drains. Then, you complete a variety of tasks, such as drain cleaning, jetting, and cable work on your service calls.
You give the customer tips on ways to keep their drain clean and clear. Additionally, you assist other technicians with pipe lining duties, gaining new skills and experience in the plumbing field. You love building rapport with our customers and take pride in the part you play in our success!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A DRAIN CLEANING TECHNICIAN
- Drain cleaning experience that includes clearing main line stoppages, secondary stoppages through the roof vent, and clearing toilet stoppages with an Auger
- Valid driver's license
