Logistics Property Company, LLC (LPC), a rapidly growing industrial real estate owner, developer and manager in North America is seeking a full-time person to join the team in Northeast Region, Baltimore area. LPC transacts business in various markets throughout the United States. The selected candidate will receive a market rate compensation package commensurate with the candidate’s experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of the Draw Accountant is responsible for monitoring invoices, compiling construction draws and ensuring billings are recorded in a timely manner. A focus on process improvement, teamwork, and delivering results will be critical. Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Aggregate all invoices to process for construction draws
• Upload invoices into Accounts Payable system (no approval)
• Prepare monthly construction project draws
• Prepare sworn statements
• Ensure presence of lien waivers, contact vendors for follow-up and receipt of waivers
• Prepare and process communication with vendors, Chicago Title and Stewart Title (escrow companies)
• Office Manager duties including but not limited to expense report preparation, office supplies ordering, meeting scheduling, mail sorting and distribution, support to visitors, organizing office operations and procedures

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
• Minimum three years of work experience, real estate development industry experience preferred but not required
• Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Approaches cross-departmental relationships with a customer service mentality and works well with associates of all levels
• Able to multitask and operate in fast paced deadline-oriented environment
• Strong organizational, attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Works independently and as a team player
• Versatile, flexible, and thrives in an environment where there are constantly changing priorities
• Commitment to excellence and high standards
• Strong PC skills with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Familiarity with Yardi Voyager preferred but not required
